WEEK ONE - Friday, 13th January 2023

This week I finished my film opening scene research and did research on 9 movies. I also had a theory session with the class about media industry.

WEEK TWO - Friday, 20th January 2023

My group finished our research and we moved on to the planning section, we discussed and created 3 very different movie opening concepts. We have developed 2 of the more possible concepts and will soon build the script, storyboard, etc. We also had a theory session more regarding media industry: media consolidation and a class about magazine terminology (note: I am not doing magazine).

WEEK THREE - Friday, 27th January 2023

My group finished the moodboard, add more casts choices and start the storyboard. We also finished the screenplay. We had a theory session about more of media indusry: mass media production.

WEEK FOUR - Friday, 3rd February 2023

For our project, we finished the development: credits, titles, actors. My teammate, Sharon continued the storyboard and we continued the casting although we still need one more. We did a few rough shots practice. We also finalized type face.

WEEK FIVE - Friday, 10th February 2023

Sharon finished the final storyboard. We started discussing for the self-reflection and the project. We tried doing the mock shots and explore various lighting. We prepared the set and planned to start shoot soon. We learned more about media industry in our theory lessons.

WEEK SIX - Friday, 17th February 2023

We finished shooting and discussed about the typeface and we decided on some choices. We also did a theory session about writing essays about synergy and media industry.

WEEK SEVEN - Friday, 24th February 2023

We did a lot of practice for Section B of our media exam regarding most of media industry. We did not have any project lessons last week so a lot of our project progress was handled by Timothy. He worked more on the editing of the intro and he mentioned he was 75% done with the intro.

WEEK EIGHT - Friday, 3rd March 2023

We continued our critical self reflection and I got until Q2, Timo finished the first draft of the intro and received a lot of feedbacks for the intro to be re-edited to be better. 

WEEK NINE - Friday, 10th March 2023

I finished my draft critical self reflection and have copied it to my slides in Canva. Timo finished the second draft of the intro and we received more feedbacks and opinion including removing the plain black screen, fix the continuity and other comments. I also received feedbacks of my critical self reflection.
