Camera Angles

  1. Overshot
  2. High-Angled shot
  3. Eye-Level shot
  4. Low Angle
  5. Undershot

Camera Movement

  1. Track: when the camera follows subject’s movement 
  2. Pan: camera moves horizontally in a fixed position (shows more of the setting/surrounding)
  3. Tilt: camera moves vertically in a fixed position (may show setting or character’s introduction)
  4. Crane: taken on a moving crane/jib (usually a bird eye shot, allows camera to move in any direction smoothly - usually usually for establishing shot or to increase the drama)
  5. Dolly: dolly in (camera moves closer to the subject), dolly out (camera moves further from the subject)
  6. Zoom: usually done during editing or with the camera lens being adjusted, zoom in is when it moves in to show more detail or subject, zoom out is when it moves out. This is all done with the camera being in a fixed position.
